Le Collectif 2022

There’s a beauty in creating for the purpose of just creating! As creatives, it’s easy to get swept up in creative responsibility, but we also need to create to feed our soul! Le Collectif has been just that for me. I love the opportunity to encourage and educate other aspiring creatives and doing it with an incredible team, where the laughter is nonstop, the wine is flowing and the good times are always rolling. This combo keeps me coming back for more, year after year!

For 2022, we retuned to Greencrest Manor because, let’s face it, it’s gorgeous and perfectly set up for what we aim to make happen at Le Collectif. From the stunning estate, to the perfectly manicured grounds, to their teams incredible hospitality, there was no where else to go as far as we were concerned!

The concept for our final editorial shoot, our mock wedding, was titled “the gentleman’s wedding.” The idea was to incorporate a strongly masculine influence from the color palette of browns, black and green, to the addition of texture like raw burled wood and pewter. We added in contrast with the floral adding in shades of burgundy mauve and goldenrod. This created a bold color story and add in some fun to the overall tablescape.

Also, this wedding invitation is one of my favorite things Grey & Cake has ever made for us! Can’t get enough of it. Enjoy these photos from Amanda K, Kelby Maria Photography & Calen Rose.
